U.S. Secretary for Veterans Affairs David Shulkin met with the Israeli deputy defense minister on March 28 to discuss the treatment of post traumatic stress disorder for veterans, according to the Jerusalem Post.
Eli Ben-Dahan and the head of the VA talked about exchanging delegations of experts to work to help mitigate the effects of PTSD for veterans.
Shulkin also invited Israeli medical and technical experts to participate in conferences on bioterrorism and events organized by the VA for wounded veterans.
