Surefire just announced they’ve hired Jamie Wiedeman as their Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Wiedeman comes back to SureFire after stepping down from his role as Director of Military Sales in 2010. Wiedeman has held several positions within the lighting and weapon accessory company since he retired from the U.S. Army and began working for SureFire in 2004. His past roles included Military Sales Rep, Government Liaison and Director of Military Sales.

During his first stint he introduced the FA556-212 suppressor to USASOC and was responsible for sales to all branches of the U.S. military, select U.S. government law enforcement agencies, TSL contractors, and OEM weapon manufacturers. Jamie served in the U.S. Army from 1982 to 2003 in various units including the 82nd Airborne’s 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, the 75th Ranger Regiment and the US Army’s Special Operations Command.
