Still need an entry to the sold-out Army 10-miler in Washington, D.C.?
You can snag a bib to the Oct. 20 race through the service member lottery or official transfer program.
500 bibs will be distributed during the lottery, which runs from Aug. 1 to Aug. 15 and is only open to service members with a .mil email address. You must provide your credit card number when registering, but it will only be charged if you are selected for a spot. The drawing will be Aug. 16. Get more information here.
The transfer program — open now through Aug. 30 — allows registered runners to transfer their bib to someone else.
It’s up to both parties to decide on registration cost reimbursement, but the “buyer” will have to pay a $25 processing fee.
